# Debug options

> Log files, config files and debug data for troubleshooting WowUp.

**Options › Debug** has the tools for looking into a problem with WowUp. If you ask for help on [Discord](https://discord.gg/rk4F5aD) or [GitHub](https://github.com/WowUp/WowUp/issues), you may be asked for what's here.

## Log Files

**Show Log Files** opens the folder with WowUp's latest log files.

## Config Files

**Show Config Files** opens the folder where WowUp keeps its settings, such as `addons.json` and `preferences.json`.

## Debug Data

**Dump Debug Data** writes detailed information about your setup to the latest log file. It's only needed for unusual addon problems.
