# Game clients

> The World of Warcraft installations WowUp manages, and how to add or edit them.

**Options › Clients** lists every World of Warcraft installation WowUp manages.

## Supported game versions

- World of Warcraft (Retail), with its PTRs and beta
- Mists of Pandaria Classic, with its PTR
- World of Warcraft Classic (Classic Era), with its PTR
- Burning Crusade Anniversary
- World of Warcraft: Forever, with its beta

## Re-Scan

**Re-Scan** looks for installed game versions again. Use it if you installed one while WowUp was running.

## Add New

If WowUp didn't find a game version, select **Add New** and pick the game's application yourself.

## Editing an installation

Select **Edit** on an installation to set:

- **Default Addon Channel**, the channel new addons install with.
- **Auto Update**, which sets every existing and new addon for that version to update on its own.

**Move Up** and **Move Down** change the order of the list, which is also the order of the game version menu on My Addons.

> [!NOTE]
> You can't change an installation's folder. **Remove** it, then add it again with **Add New**. Removing an installation clears WowUp's information about its addons, but leaves the addon folders alone.
